Solar LED Overhead Lighting

Increasingly, new studies are showing problems associated with "over-lighting", including glare, light pollution and even instances of increased vandalism. The solution is targeted; controllable lighting. Study after study indicates that properly applied outdoor lighting can dramatically improve safety and amenity at night. This translates into increased business activity, stronger neighborhood relations, better upkeep, and reduced crime. Recent studies also report added benefits of white lighting for many settings. White lighting not only is more energy efficient, it portrays natural colors of surfaces and provides more accurate perspective of objects. Our Solar LED Overhead Lighting package is designed to provide targeted white lighting and all the associated benefits without the need for expensive trenching and wiring. The system includes a solar panel, a two-axis adjustable panel mounting system for optimal charging, a 360° adjustable overhang lighting arm for targeted lighting, a high efficiency LED light, a NEMA 3R battery enclosure, a 50 amp-hour (Ah) sealed battery, and a solar lighting controller. The customer must supply the standard 3 inch O.D. light pole.
